Camp K9 is certainly fun for dogs, but it's also great for people who love and live with canines . . .
In the morning I ask Gracie if she wants to go to Linda's Daycare, she runs and gets her leash and sits quietly by the garage door. She love's Camp K-9. At night she comes home and falls on the carpet, exhausted from playing with her friends.

"A home away from home". That's exactly how my husband and I feel about Camp K-9.
The concept and vision you have implemented at Camp K-9 is far better than anything else I've ever seen or experienced. Whether you are buying a treat or toy from the retail boutique, making a salon appointment so your pooch can look beautiful or handsome, playing games at day care or having a pajama party overnight, Camp K-9 has it all.
I would do anything for my dog as she is a part of my family and I truly believe Camp K-9 is a home away from home. Abbey gets so excited when she goes to day care. When we board her it's like we never even left! I personally enjoy reading her report card and hearing all the silly things the dogs do.

Taz originally started going to Camp due to severe separation anxiety. When left alone Taz would become very destructive. We were completely against medication. We had tried oils and things you plug in the wall, cds for dogs we even tried obedience classes, which helped a little, but when we heard about Camp K-9 we knew that this was just what he needed! Taz has been attending camp for 1 year now and comes home completely worked over! We can now leave him alone in the evenings and not have to worry about what we will come home to! Taz is ready to go there every morning, but is happy to see us when we pick him up. What more could you ask for?!?!

A Golden Retriever puppy is about the most rambunctious puppy there is and Brady was more so than most. My wife and I were at our wits end with all of Brady's energy. Our vet recommended we call Linda.
I brought Brady to the camp for her interview and was worried all day that she wouldn't "pass the test." Every time the phone rang at work I would anxiously answer expecting the person on the other end would ask me to come and get my dog. But the day passed without a call and I went to pickup my baby girl.
When I arrived, the counselor told me she did fine and "Passed the Test". I brought her home as the proud puppy dad. She wasn't the hyper puppy I took in that morning but instead she curled up by our fireplace and napped most of the evening. If I didn't know any better, I would swear Linda switched our puppy with someone else's.
The next day, I brought Brady back to Camp. Linda was there first thing in the morning and asked me, "Well what did you think?" I told her, "If I knew her any better, I would give her a hug." Brady is a different dog now. But if I let more than a few days pass, Brady makes it perfectly clear that she NEEDS to go to camp. Brady is now a year old and Linda keeps assuring my wife and I that we only have one more year of adolescence.
Brady loves to visit Linda's Camp K9 and play with her friends and the camp counselors. The staff is great and takes great care of Brady. From the flexibility of scheduling, the tasty treats in the bakery, and all of the toys and accessories in the gift shop Linda's Camp K9 is a wonderful place for any furry four-legged companion to visit. She nearly jumps out of her golden locks every time anyone in the house mentions 'Camp'. She will literally run in circles and bark excitedly at the door until we leave for Camp. Who wouldn't get excited with all fun and excitement that takes place everyday? We get newsletters that tell us about the baseball games played, birthday parties, going away parties and celebrations for Brady's friends who get adopted by new families. Brady has a scrap book with all of her notes, newsletters and report cards. We look forward to finding out about the adventures that are had every day at camp. My family took a vacation and we got a letter from Brady at camp telling us not to worry about her because she was having tons of fun. Thank you Linda and staff for taking such good care of Brady.

I want to tell you how much your camp means to me and my “kids”. We have six dogs and all of them are special in several ways. All of our dogs are ones we think others wouldn’t adopt. Anyway we love our misfit group, but I never took a vacation because I trust no one to care for them. If they couldn’t go with me I didn’t go. When I did leave them with the vet for a weekend I was miserable because I knew they were miserable in a cage. Then last spring at Pet Refuge’s auction I purchased a week at Camp K-9. It was the best thing I’ve ever invested in.
Our big puppy Sawyer can’t wait to go to day care and play with his friends. He is so funny pulling at his leash hurrying as if he were saying “See ya mom, I’ve gotta go play.” He is afraid of people, but he knows the day care employees are not scary. Just this weekend Aretha played with Sawyer at home. Until now she didn’t have much to do with him. She too has blossomed. I once watched our terrier, Lacy over the fence at day care while other dogs followed her around worshiping the ground she walked on. Then she would turn around and tell them to back off. They just stood there and looked at her and when she turned back around they continued to follow her.
I was leery that Jara, my frightened runner, would escape. But after seeing the set up and knowing how you operate it’s no longer a worry. We went out of town to my niece’s graduation and for the first time I didn’t feel bad because I knew my dogs were not miserable - they were safe and happy. You have changed my dogs’ lives and my life. I can’t say enough good things about you. I tell anyone who will listen about what a good experience this has been. I encourage people to give their dogs a good time and send them to day care. I also must say that I am surprised at how well the dogs get along. I was afraid that my Aretha might not pass the evaluation, but she does so well there.
The very best part of day care is how tired my kids are when they come home at the end of a busy day. The kids’ crash and I have to wake them up just to go out and go potty before bed. Aretha who usually wakes me up in the night just so she can go out and check out the yard, is so tired she sleeps the night thru. When I think about their life spent boringly passing sitting alone at home or spending the day playing I know it’s worth the money.
You are all a blessing. Thank you so much.- Gina Covey, owned by Sawyer, Jara and Aretha
I have been extremely impressed by the quality of care my Olivia has received over the last year. I am convinced that Olivia's disposition and personality has to do with the love, attention, and training she has received day after day from Linda and team at Camp K-9.
Not only do "we" feel important but also like family. I highly recommend the welcome and sense of relaxation I feel whenever leaving Olivia with this group of caring individuals and offer my praise of a job well done!
